Sources & responsible use
Product disclosures for legal review. This page describes how to interpret the information; it is not a legal opinion or a guarantee of accuracy.
Official source categories and updates
Source checks are scheduled, not a promise of real-time publication. A check may find no change or fail. The source's own publication schedule can differ from our checks. Signed-in users can see live source status, including last successful snapshot, attempts, cadence and limitations, on the Sources page.

- Toronto development applications ↗

- Ontario Builds ↗

- CanadaBuys tender notices ↗
Public procurement, separate from permit leads; daily official CSV snapshot.
Classification and timing limits
Trade matches, project stages, buying windows, and opportunity labels are interpretations of published records. A permit is not proof of an available contract, a development application is not an approved build, and procurement notices can change or close. Missing fields and delayed upstream corrections can affect a result. Check the linked official record, its current status and dates before acting.
Supplier choices appear only with published qualified direct matches in live opportunity menus. If a verified supplier snapshot is unavailable or has no qualified matching records, those menus may show no choices. The public landing catalogue instead lists all configured supplier research categories: its category total is not a count of supplier businesses, current opportunities or confirmed demand. A product-family match is a research signal, not confirmation of a purchase, specification, buyer, or buying window.
Investment research boundaries
The Investors directory is navigation-only research context, not a live investor-lead filter. Developers, construction financing, and project supporters are perspectives for examining source-linked building activity. Public permits do not establish ownership, a financing need, an available investment, investor participation, a capital raise, or expected returns. Verify all parties and financial claims independently; PermitClue does not provide financial or investment advice.
Contacts and research
Only use professional contact details for a legitimate business purpose. A named party or a business contact does not establish ownership, authority to award work, or consent to outreach. Do not use this service to identify or contact private homeowners. On-request research can be incomplete, time-limited, or unavailable; external findings and inferred role fits require independent verification. Do not treat generated research or reports as independently verified facts.
Your decision
Independently verify source records, rights to reuse information, project eligibility, bid requirements, and contact appropriateness before making decisions. PermitClue is not legal, financial, investment, procurement, or construction advice. A reviewed downloadable report records your review of the cited snapshot; it does not certify its contents.
Website activity and privacy
PermitClue uses a first-party browser cookie to estimate visits, pages viewed and recent activity. The owner-only admin panel can link signed-in activity to your account and compare tagged marketing links. Verified network IP addresses are retained for up to 30 days, with hourly cleanup; activity records are retained for 90 days. IP addresses do not reliably identify a person.
We do not collect passwords, private note or research contents, search text, or full referring URLs in this activity tracker. It respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Blocking JavaScript or cookies may prevent activity from being counted. This first-party data is not sent to an external marketing analytics service.
